Chivalry isn’t dead, it’s just awkward.
I love the rare gentleman who still tries to be chivalrous in 2011 just like the next lady, but does anyone else find it really awkward when men wait for the ladies in the elevator to exit first?  I feel like I’m supposed to say thanks, but what am I thanking them for?  Allowing me to awkwardly maneuver past their briefcases?  Really, let’s just make this as efficient as possible, people.  Move it, buster!
