Like, I get that Manhattan salons are pricey, but try Supercuts! REALLY!
Top 3 Worst Subway Lines in NYC: G-train
I am convinced this is a fictional train like the train to Hogwartz that departs from platform 9-3/4.
*A statistical note: 58% of the 8.4 million residents of NYC’s 5 boroughs reside in either Brooklyn or Queens, but the G is the only train offering a direct connection between the 2. In contrast, Manhattan is home to only 19% of borough residents…but more than 20 subway lines.
Top 3 Worst Subway Lines in NYC: A-train
Ella Fitzgerald took this train to Harlem in 1961. Apparently that was also the last time this train was taken by a janitorial crew.
Top 3 Worst Subway Lines in NYC: R-train
R as in Really sucks. (No, but seriously, why is this train more like a train wreck?)
Things that I miss already about NY Penn…
It’s official. I’ve moved into the city temporarily. That means no more Penn Station. Today I only rode the subway and for some weird reason - I kind of miss the Jersey commute already. MTA isn’t the same. It’s bumpier for starters, which makes it harder to draw.
